VLC would like to thank all of those who came out and
supported the VLC Community Rebuilding Initiative Outdoor Event. This community
event brought out friends, families, and neighbors who came out to build
relationships and to learn more about the new programs launched by VLC to
benefit the community. We appreciate our supporters that included our
co-sponsor BMA Project GIVE, and a special thanks to Sam Clements of The
Executive Source Business Group.
The Community Rebuilding Initiative Outdoor Event was held on
Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Mt.TrashmorePark
in Virginia Beach, VA.
VLC understands that giving back to the community is its own
reward. On Monday, July 30th VLC prepared meals for those in need at the
Judeo-Christian Outreach Center (JCOC). VLC volunteers and supports the mission
and work the JCOC provides to the local community several times throughout the
year. The JCOC has served over half a million meals to those in need. They also
help those in need with a place to stay, assist those searching for a new start
by providing education, job placement assistance as well as help to overcome
drug or alcohol addictions. VLC helped feed over 220 people and made sure they
all received a brown bag lunch to take with them.
VLC looks forward to their next visit to the center for the opportunity to
share and help the community. You can show your support for VLC
